Happy Friday! Time to showcase some of my favourite posts from the last week. As always please feel free to take part if you want to.
The Rules:
- You have to highlight one review, one booktag/meme & one general bookish style post.
- Remember to link back to the creator of the post & include a brief description as to why you have picked this specific post.
- Link back to me ( mainly so I can find new awesome blogs to follow.)
- Tag 3 people to take part in the post next week :D.
Favourite Review
My Bookish Banter – The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo
I love when a blogger has high expectations for a book and it delivers, and this can easily be seen in Aayushi’s review. She gushes about this book and I’m definitely eager to pick it up.
“Evelyn’s story is intensely emotional, raw and hard-hitting. I flew though this book in a day and could not put it down.“
Favourite Tag/Meme Post
Shelves or Starlight – Halloween Creatures Tag
You should all know by now that I am a huge wimp, but luckily Livy’s Tag post contains no ghosts or monsters just some truly epic book recommendations.
“Skeletons: a book or character that chilled you to the bone or got your funny bone.
Silas from The Doll Factory, by Elizabeth Macneal.
This guy is creepy, enough said.”
Favourite General Bookish Post
Reading Between the Dunes – 7 Books that influenced my current reading voiceTi
To start off with this post includes some amazing sounding books, but I also love how we get insight into why these books have influenced her writing style and what really stood out for her when reading the books.
“And with the wild and eerily magical Vasya, who is such a perfectly flawed character it’s hard to feel anything but riveted by her…”

Great post, Becky! I just checked out the general bookish post and loved it. Interesting to see how the author’s reading and also writing style was impacted by these books’ styles!
