Hello! Since I’m becoming slightly better at sticking to a TBR these days I thought I would start sharing my monthly goals with you all. Most of the books below are ARC’s off my seemingly never ending Netgalley backlog but there are also a few Nov releases that I just know I wont be able to stop myself reading straight away and a couple I can’t really talk about 👀. Do you have TBR’s you stick to, or are you more of a mood reader?
Netgalley ARC’s
I’ve already started The Betrayals and I’m loving it so far! I’m part of a blog tour for The Camelot Betrayal and was so excited when I got accepted because The Guinevere Deception was one of my favourite reads last year. I’ve only heard good things about These Violent Delights and am eager to start reading it. I’ve never read an Anna Stephens book before but have a few on my TBR and just couldnt resist requesting The Stone Knife on Netgalley because it sounds amazing. I’ve actually had The Thief on the Winged Horse on my NG since around Feb/March but haven’t had the time to pick it up yet, I haven’t read any reviews so far but the plot sounds right up my street.
Author Requests.

I read, and enjoyed, Williams’ ‘Under Ordshaw’ last year, so when he emailed asking if I would like a copy of his latest work I jumped at the chance. He writes some really eccentric characters, add in intricately woven mysteries and supernatural thriller and I’m sold.
Other Books
I was meant to buddy read The Dragon Republic last month in preparation for the release of The Burning God but life got in the way. I’m around 30% through and am hoping to be able to polish this one off in between my other reads so I can pick up The Burning God on release day… I have no chill with this series and just know that my current read will go out of the window once it’s released.
Secret BBNYA Books
Here come’s the ‘lips sealed’ part! I’ve been lucky enough to be a panellist for BBNYA this year! The excerpts I’ve read so far have been brilliant and now it’s time for us to read full books. We’re not allowed to talk about the books we’ve been allocated until the winner has been announced, but my 3 all sound amazing and I’m eager to get started on them.
And that’s it for November… thank god! 11 books is a little more than I usually get through in a month but thanks to another lockdown I’m going to have a bit more reading time on my hands. What are your reading goals/TBR’s for November? Let me know in the comments.

Oooh I think I’ve only heard of The Haunting of Hill House and that’s a little too scary for this scaredy-cat 🤣. Enjoy your reading!
