How many books do you usually read at once?

I used to be a one book only kinda gal, but since Susan has started roping me in on buddy reads I’ve had a couple of occasions where I read two BUT they have to be different genres or they get a lil messed up in my head!

How do you decide when to switch between multiple reads?

Well, I only really read two books when I’m buddy reading so I tend to make sure I read the chapters I need for that book, then pick up whatever else I’m reading at the time.

Do you ever switch bookmarks partway through a book?

Not really? But mainly because I read ALOT on my Kindle and if I am reading a hard copy I tend to have the bookmark close to hand.

What time of day do you read the most?

Probably the morning. I work nights to have a lot of time before I start my shift which I use wisely. I also tend to read for a bit when I get home because it helps me to unwind before bed.

How long do you typically read in one session?

Totally depends on the book. I have been known, on more than one occasion, to read a book in a single sitting. But some books I have to take a bit slower, whether its the writing style, or I just want to savour the story.

Do you read hardcovers with the dust jacket off?

Yes! There are people who don’t? I find it waaay too annoying to try and read with the dust jacket on, it keeps moving, or I accidently bend it.

What position do you mainly use to read?

I will fully admit to taking this the wrong way when I first read it! I normally read in bed, or curled up on the sofa. Pretty much anywhere I can get comfy.

Do you take your current read with you everywhere you go?

If I have the kindle version then yes, because even if I forget my kindle I have the app on my phone. If i’m reading a physical copy then it all depends on the bag I end up taking with me, or where i’m going.

How often do you update your goodreads reading progress?

I’ve become pretty good and updating goodreads as soon as I finish a book, mainly so I can keep upto date with my reading challenge… remembering to post my reviews once I’ve written them? That’s a whole other kettle of fish.
