I actually came to the YA genre quite late in life. I had read the odd book as a teen: Harry Potter & His Dark Materials, but when my first YA fantasy read was when I was around 25. There are some absolutely amazing YA series and standalone’s out there that are perfect for readers of all ages, but I’m going to highlight some YA books on my TBR. These are books that have been on my TBR for a while now and I am eager to give them a try.
