Welcome to my blog tour stop on the Hear Our Voices Blog Tour for Forest of Souls by Lori. M. Lee. Forest of Souls releases on June 23rd. Thanks to Susan for tagging me in this, and to Leelynn for allowing me to be part of the blog tour. Leelynn worked hard on getting this put together in a short space of time, and also made all the amazing graphics!

Sirscha Ashwyn comes from nothing, but she’s intent on becoming something. After years of training to become the queen’s next royal spy, her plans are derailed when shamans attack and kill her best friend Saengo.
And then Sirscha, somehow, restores Saengo to life.
Unveiled as the first soulguide in living memory, Sirscha is summoned to the domain of the Spider King. For centuries, he has used his influence over the Dead Wood—an ancient forest possessed by souls—to enforce peace between the kingdoms. Now, with the trees growing wild and untamed, only a soulguide can restrain them. As war looms, Sirscha must master her newly awakened abilities before the trees shatter the brittle peace, or worse, claim Saengo, the friend she would die for.

This is one chunky book, and with that amount of pages you would expect there to be parts that dragged right? Well, you would be wrong, I flew through this over 800 page book and the authors writing style made it impossible to put down.

Rin is the ultimate hot-head. Most of her decisions are based around his temper, which is probably why they are mostly terrible decisions!

Yes the ending to this trilogy was heartbreaking, but it was also hopeful. We get to see the world Nahri and Ali want to create and I would love the chance to see it come to life

I love Mermaids! This book is on my TBR and I have read some raving reviews for it.

I adored We Hunt the Flame and am eagerly anticipating the sequel! I need to make sure all my faves are ok.
I’m tagging anyone who feels like taking part! The Blog Tour is running until the 23rd June, so feel free to join in :D.
