Let me tell you. Quarantining may suck, but even though I still have to go into work I am almost half way through my Goodreads challenge already. My spare time is literally filled with reading and binge watching TV shows (currently Grey’s Anatomy.) The three books below couldn’t be any less similar and yet they all sound amazing and I’m excited to get into them all. What are you all reading this Wednesday?
What are you currently reading?
I adored Gods of Jade and Shadow when I read it last year, and with just one book I became a huge fan of the authors writing. Luckily this popped up to request on Netgalley and it sounds amazing, set in 1950’s Mexico with socialites and secrets & I mean… just look how gorgeous that cover is!
What have you just finished reading?
This book kind of crept up on me out of nowhere. It was exactly the read I needed to get me out of my reading slump. Fast paced and full of tension with a fantastically written main character and some amazing rep. 2020 is looking like the year I become a big sci-fi fan.
What are you going to read next?
Does this sound creepy? Yes. Am I a wimp? Yes. But it also sounds intriguing and I do love a good thriller/crime novel, so when Dave emailed asking if I would like to be part of the Write Reads blog tour I jumped at the chance. It just might mean a few nights of me sleeping with the light on!

The Space Between Worlds sounds interesting! I haven’t read sci fi in a while and this has just made me realise how much I’ve missed it. Happy reading Becky
