Do you ever have that book, the one you absolutely adored whilst reading, the one that took you a long while to get over, and then you just… forget about it. I have so many series/books on my shelves that I really need to re-read. I remember loving them, but would find it hard to give you a comprehensive reason why. Some of the books/ series I’ve chosen below are series that I haven’t even finished yet, some are books/series that I feel get more than enough love and I would rather highlight lesser knows series and others are just books that got lost in the pages and pages I have read.
Top Ten Tuesday is run by Jana over at That Artsy Reader Girl and you should definitely go give her blog some love.

Red Queen
This one of the series I still need to finish! I flew through the first three books and then I think the wait for War Storm just dwindled my interest. I definitely want to find out how it ends though so will be picking it up soon.
Throne of Glass
The last book in this series broke me, but it will always remain a favourite of mine. I love the romance, the action, the characters and the amazing world that Maas creates, and I know for sure I’m not the only one which is why I try and shy away from spotlighting this one too much.
Court of Thorns and Roses
Pretty much the same as above. I very nearly didn’t pick this series up, but after reading a few reviews had to give it a try and I think, if i’m honest, I prefer it over TOG. Another amazingly built world, with some snarky, beautiful and loving characters and scenes that have you perched on the edge of your seat.
The Bone Season
It took me a while to get into this series, I DNF it the first time around but I am beyond glad that I decided to pick it up again. Set in a dystopian future where clairvoyants exist and the government’s one plan is to kill them. There are plenty of twists and turns and some truly believable characters and I am SO excited for the next book to be published.
Witchlands
There are so many things to love about this series, the characters, the world building, the magic system, the romance and general familial love. If you’re a fan of kick ass women, snark characters and some truly brilliantly written fight scenes then this is the series for you.
The Dark Artifices
This is probably my favourite Clare series, the Blackthorns & Emma will always hold a special place in my heart and though I am truly excited to dive into Chain of Gold when I eventually get my hands on a copy, this series knocked it out of the park.
To Best the Boys
I’ve heard so little about this book and yet I felt the premise, characters and magic system were wondrously unique and intriguing. I’ve seen a lot of mixed reviews but this was one of those books that just hooked me completely and I will definitely pick up again.
The Immortals Quartet
I got a copy of Wild Magic off Netgalley back when they were releasing the new covers and was instantly swept away by the world Pierce created. Daine and Numair became instant favourites of mine and I went out and bought the rest of the series. This series took me right back to being a child and believing in magic and I’m eager to pick up some of the authors other works.
Wonder Woman – Warbringer
I’m pretty sure this came in one of my first Illumicrate boxes, and it’s definitely not a book I would have picked up myself. I felt that Bardugo took a well knows comic story and put her own twist on if effortlessly and I loved seeing Diana from a different perspective.
The Last Namsara
Another series I don’t really hear much about and yet the first two books ( I haven’t read the third yet) absolutely blew me away. The author has such a beautiful writing style and the stories she creates are beyond intriguing and had me glued to the pages.
These are only some of the stories I have loved and yet seem to fall between the cracks. Have you read any of these? What did you think of them? What books do you love that you don’t talk about enough? Let me know in the comments.

Love this list! Like you, I’ve read the first three Red Queen books, but not Warstorm. Honestly, at this point I don’t think I’ll pick it up simply because it’s been years since I read the series. Yay, someone else who prefers ACOTAR over TOG! I love both of course, but ACOTAR was my introduction to the YA genre, so it holds a special place in my heart.

I still need to read the final book in ToG but I’M SO SCARED 😅🙈 I don’t know if I can handle all the feels… I also need to read the last book in The Dark Artifices series! That’s the only Clare book I’ve read but still managed to really enjoy it, but again, scared for the ending! Haha Great list 😀

I used to enjoy Tamora Pierce’s books a lot. I think I’ll try to re-read some before the TV series comes out!
