Spring is finally around the corner… even if the weather still thinks we’re in Winter. I’ve decided to dedicate the next few months to my ridiculous Netgalley backlog, I have been approved for some amazing books and i’m excited to finally give myself the time to read them. As well as my Netgalley reads I’m also planning on picking up some books that I have just been dying to start, whether I’ve read an amazing review, or it’s a new book/series by an author that I love. Have you got your TBR planned for spring? Or are you more of a mood reader? Let me know in the comments.
Top Ten Tuesday is run by Jana over at That Artsy Reader Girl and you should definitely go give her blog some love.

Incendiary
Political intrigue, rebel spies, inquisition era Spain… all these out together make for one amazing sounding book. I was lucky enough to be accepted for this on Netgalley and I am eager to dive it.
Girl Serpent Thorn
I have heard some amazing things about this book and was lucky enough to get my hands on an ARC. I mean, a girl cursed to be poisonous to the touch and she discovers what powers might lie in the curse… sounds awesome right?
Lady of Shadows
I literally whooped with joy when I won an ARC of this off Twitter. Lord of Secrets was one of my top reads of 2019, and after the ending I needed book two in my hands asap. I can’t wait to reacquaint myself with the snark wizard Gray.
Dangerous Remedy
I would have requested this one on the cover alone, its sooo pretty. Luckily the inside seems to be getting some rave reviews, with some great LGBTQ rep, set in historical France and with a gang of misfits this book seems like it will be right up my street.
The Court of Miracles
Another book I was incredibly lucky to get accepted for on Netgalley. Set around the French revolution and follows a young cat burgler on her rise to the glittering court of Louis XVII all to save her adopted sister… also that book has some serious cover goals.
Chain of Gold
I’m patiently awaiting the arrival of my Illumicrate special edition, but I’m kinda glad its delayed because i’m pretty sure as soon as I have this book in my hands my TBR will be out of the window. I’ve been dying to dive back into Edwardian London after loving the Infernal Devices… even if this sounds like it is sure to break my heart.
The Girl and the Stars
This will actually be my first Mark Lawrence book… i know, crazy right! I have had Red Sister on my TBR for an age and I’m hoping, if I love this as much as i expect too, that it will get bumped to the top soon.
Silvered Serpents
I have an amazing trader on FB to thank for me getting a ridiculously early copy of this. I read Gilded Wolves in one sitting last year and ever since have bee dying to dive back into the world that Chokshi created… also I need to check my lil cinnamon roll Hypnos is ok.
Library of the Unwritten
Honestly, the amount of amazing reviews I’ve read for this one are making my slightly wary that it wont live up to the hype. I found the premise for this one really fresh and intriguing, and now that my pre-order from forbidden planet has finally arrived i’m excited to dive in.
To Kill a Kingdom
Into the Crooked Place was one of my favourite reads of 2019 and I have no vowed to pick up anything else the author writes. Luckily this has been on my TBR for a while now, and i’m just hoping it kicks my out of my ‘on the seas’ book slump I’ve been in recently.
So thats just a few of the awesome books I have lined up to read over Spring. Are any of these on your TBR? Or have you read them already? Let me know your thoughts in the comments.

To Kill A Kingdom and Chain of Gold is on my TBR as well, even if I’m STILL on the 4th Mortal Instruments book lmao

Hah well you don’t really need to read them to read Chain of Gold… or at least I’m guessing so because it’s set before? There might be spoilers for the infernal devices though if you haven’t read those! Hope you’re enjoying them 😊

Lady we have soooooo many books on here in common that I’m gonna go with two questions…
1)Are you on the Incendiary blog tour??
2) Has LOTU not been released in the UK yet?

I got an ARC for The Silver Serpents at the end of last year, it’s a good book and it’s sad that it got pushed back so far, but I’m excited for others to read it, I hope you enjoy.
