BBNYA Panellist Reveal!

Hi guys! Anyone who’s been following my blog for a while might have noticed the brand spanking new badge I added a few months ago:

I’m honoured to announce that I will be a panellist for BBNYA – Book blogger novel of the year award. If you want to find out more about the awards you can check out the awesome post Esmée created here. (The badges were created by Jen over at Jenniely.com where you can check out her post.)

There has been sooo much work going on behind the scenes, and with panellist entries closed I though this would be the perfect time to spotlight some of the amazing bloggers who were chosen to take part.

The first blogger I have the pleasure or highlighting is Jess over a comfort reads! Be sure to go and give her blog some love.

Tell Me A Bit About You

I’m 22 and I was born and bred in England. I have two dogs and love to bake. My go-to genre is contemporary, focusing on books by and about women.

When Did You Start Blogging and Why?

I started blogging back in 2016 when I was 15. None of my friends were readers and when I found book blogs I felt I’d found my home away from home.

Do you have any fun bookish memories?

When I was 16 we had some foreign exchange students at our school. One of them lent me her copy of The Perks of Being a Wallflower by Stephen chbosky. It still stands as one of my favourite books.

What are some of your favourite books/tv-shows/movies etc

Harry Potter (of course) The Neopolitan Novels by Elena Ferrante and Perks are my three favourite books. I love Marvel and cosy TV shows like Great British Bake Off, Gilmore Girls, Friends and Downton Abbey.

Where Did You First Hear About BBNYA & What Made You Decide To Join

I believe it was through twitter. It’s where I get most of my info, haha! I wanted to join because it was book blogger based and showcased Indie authors.

Favourite Indie/Self-Published Books

Milk & Honey because it’s beautifully crafted. Every word resonates with me as it’s a lot about being a women in the modern age.

Where You Can Find Me!– Blog– Twitter– Instagram
