WWW Wednesday!

WWW Wednesday is a weekly meme hosted by Sam over on Taking on a World of Words.

The idea is pretty simple, every week you dedicate a post to the three W’s:

What are you currently reading?

What have you just finished reading?

What are you going to read next?

Hello! I was destroyed by my last read… destroyed, and I just had to re-read one of my favourite series to help me recover. I’m slowly recovering from my book induced heartbreak so i should hopefully be back on track for my usual TBR, and this month it’s all about trying to make a dent in my impressive Netgalley TBR. I have 7 books lined up this month so wish me luck.

What are you currently reading?

I am so hyped for this book! I’m trying to branch out more and read more Sci-Fi books and this one has female astronauts. I’ve read some kick ass reviews and the premise for this one just grabbed me so I was ecstatic when I got approved for it on Netgalley.

What have you just finished reading?

This book right here! This book killed me. I think I bawled through the last 50% of the book and then the ending just killed me all over again. It was an amazing and beautifully done end to one of my favourite series. I’m part of the blog tour for this one so my review isn’t due until next month but just a quick heads up… get the tissues ready.

What are you going to read next?

I have been meaning to get to this one for a while but between blog tours and life it’s just fallen by the wayside. But this is the month and I am so excited. I’ve read some awesome reviews and I’m excited to dive in.

  1. Goldilocks is one of my anticipated reads, wasn’t sure I’d have enough time to read/review so sadly didn’t request on Netgalley.
Have you seen ‘Seven Devils’ by Laura Lam & Elizabeth May, it’s not out for a few months yet but looks so good. Kickass women in space. – you can’t go wrong!

  2. I’m on the blog tour for Night of the Dragon too. I really want to read it…but I’m also really nervous to read it. I know I’ll get to it in the next couple weeks though. I have to in order to write my blog tour review. But it’s definitely good to know that I should probably have tissues on hand while i’m reading…and I probably shouldn’t try to read it while I’m at work either.

Good luck with reading all your TBR for this month.

  3. I really need to check out the Shadow of the Fox series. I’ve heard some pretty amazing things about it! Looking forward to seeing what you think of Goldilocks–I’m really excited for that one 🙂 Happy reading!

  4. Oh. I somehow missed this post. But I can see here’s where you warn about Night of the Dragon and the broken feels and such. Welp. I’ve already added tissues to my grocery list, but man, now I’m just worried about all my little darlings. *clutches the characters tight and refuses to let go* I’m curious about The Sisters Grimm, too, so I’ll be looking forward to seeing what you think of it!
