I’ve had a bit of a reading slump over the past few days thanks, in a large part, to me getting re-addicted to Grey’s Anatomy and starting it from the beginning. Thankfully though my last read kind of grasped me by the back of the neck and hauled me out of my funk at lightning speed. I only actually physically picked it up on Monday night and I flew through it at record speed… you’ll find out what it was below. How have all your reading weeks/months been so far? What are you currently reading?
I’ve read some amazing reviews for this one so I jumped at the chance to be part of the FFBC blog tour. A door that leads to a magical world, the girl who has to protect it. This sounds right up my street and I’m excited to start it.
What have you just finished reading?
This is the magical book that pulled me out of my reading funk. I’ve read some mixed reviews for it and, though I get why it’s not for everyone, I absolutely loved it. My full review will be live on Sunday but let’s just say its quirky, magical, with a hilarious rag-tag literary squad AND an animal sidekick… what more do you want?
What are you going to read next?
When Dave contacted me asking if I wanted to be part of The Write Reads blog tour for this one I jumped at the chance. Not only does the story sound amazing, but Susan over at Novel Lives loved it and she hasn’t let me down so far.
