WWW Wednesday!

WWW Wednesday is a weekly meme hosted by Sam over on Taking on a World of Words.

The idea is pretty simple, every week you dedicate a post to the three Wโ€™s:

What are you currently reading?

What have you just finished reading?

What are you going to read next?

Happy Wednesday everyone! I was hit with a major migraine on Sunday and only really recovered today so my readings gone a little off track! I did, however, come home to a lovely surprise on Friday, and found that TOR books had sent me an ARC of a book I have been dying to read. This week I have also been deciding on whether I can afford to go to YALC this year. I’ve never been before and would love to go but accommodation is so expensive. Really hoping I can find somewhere cheap nearby so I don’t have to lug all my book hauls. What have you been up to this week? Are any of you planning on going to YALC? Let me know in the comments.

What are you currently reading?

I around a third of the way through this, and though its slow starting I am enjoying it! I jumped at the chance to request this and was super excited when I came home from work to find a copy. This series sounds intriguing and I love that the 4 books will be released month by month so there wont be any torturous wait.

What have you just finished reading?

I’m still so thankful to Susan for gifting me this one and it was easy to shove aside my TBR and pick it up. I thoroughly enjoyed it and loved the world that the author built. Full of amazing characters and political intrigue. You can find my full review here.

What are you going to read next?

I signed up to the Write Reads blog tour for this one and I am eager to finally start reading it. I read After the Green Withered by Kristin last year and loved it so when I found out they were featuring another of her books I jumped at the chance. The plot definitely sounds intriguing and my plan for 2020 was to read more Sci-Fi so double bonus!

So that’s my reading this week! Have you read any of these? Or are any of them currently on your TBR? Let me know in the comments, and I hope you all have a fantastic rest of the week.

  1. I’m just getting to the plink plink plink. I listened to that part on the way to work and I was hysterical laughing. That is so me.

I dont know if you’ve ever watched greys anatomy but is like when they were in that plane crash and Christina was in shock and couldnt stop screaming about what the hell her shoe was.

I can so relate to those moments when the world is falling apart and you find something completely unrelated and irrelevant to focus on like the plinking of the water…..

    • Haha Iโ€™m past that but.

Also I LOVE Greys Anatomy, so sad itโ€™s ending. And I totally get you, when the worlds falling apart itโ€™s easier to focus on the small things than the big.

  2. One of my friends usually get a hotel for LFCC/YALC at Shepherd Bush, near Westfield. But they usually book as soon as dates are released for the event.
Another one of them gets a hotel near the Tower Gateway stop on DLR. A hotel nearish to the mini Tesco.

  3. Both Queen In Hiding and Gravemaidens are on TBR. But at this point, that list is so long, I can only cross my fingers and wish upon a star to get to them. [Problems of bookworm! ๐Ÿ˜‰ ]
    Have a great reading week!
