WWW Wednesday

WWW Wednesday is a weekly meme hosted by Sam over on Taking on a World of Words.

The idea is pretty simple, every week you dedicate a post to the three W’s:

What are you currently reading?

What have you just finished reading?

What are you going to read next?

Well I’ve officially finished my first read of the year and it was a slightly weird one at that. This was my first week back at work after the holidays and it is dragging so badly! There is one thing that has slightly perked me up though as a friend and I have booked to go watch Weezer, Greenday and Fall Out Boy in Vienna… Bring on June. I’m being well and truly spoilt with holidays this year and I’m also attempting to try and squeeze YALC in there. Have you got any trips planned for 2020? Let me know in the comments.

What are you currently reading?

I’m not massively far into this one yet but I am enjoying it so far! Steeped in West-African and Caribbean traditions and with a snarky and beautiful shape shifting Dragon I have high hopes for it. My review is due at the end of the month so keep your eyes peeled.

What have you just finished reading?

This was a weird one for me. I enjoyed the book as a whole, yet there were parts of it I really disliked. Mainly one of the main characters who gave me the creeps so badly the hairs on my arm would stand up. I suppose this is a sign of good writing but it seriously gave me the heebie jeebies. My review is due at the end of the month .

What are you going to read next?

My next really will be totally dependant on how fast I finish my current one. I have around 4 blog tours for Feb early March but Susan treated me to Gravemaidens ( as well as some other awesome reads) for my Birthday and I have been dying to read it since she posted her review and author interview, so maybe…maybe I might have to sneak it in between the Blog Tour reads, and we all know I’m a big mood reader so it’s going to happen!

  1. Given is one that caught my eye, but I just didn’t have time to read it. I look forward to what your thoughts are about it! I really need to read Gravemaidens. I’ve heard such good things about it. I just haven’t had a chance yet. Happy reading!
