Waltz – A book with an elegant and graceful writing style

God the writing in this book blew me away. Effortless prose and a writing style that drags you into the story headfirst.

Cha Cha Cha – An outstanding trilogy

This is one of my all time favourite series. Arden writes characters that you become one with, and I loved reading all about Russian folklore.

Quickstep – A book that has a very fast pace from beginning to end.

I think I read this book in a matter of hours! Fast paced and beautifully written, you fly through the pages then find yourself utterly disappointed that you’re at the end. Plus Mayan mythology, a kickass heroine and the God of death. What more do you want?

Paso Doble – A book with striking cover art

I mean look at it. It has a freaking Dragon on the front! Luckily the story inside is just as stunning as the cover.

Viennese Waltz – A book with lots of twist and turns

This book kept me guessing, even after I had finished it. As twisty and turny as its subject matter, I thoroughly enjoyed guessing the outcome and then being proved wrong again and again.

Tango – A book with an intensely gripping plot

This whole series was gripping! I flew through all 5 books in under a week, unable to tear myself away from the pages and needing to know Vhalla’s outcome.

Rumba – A book that you have a strong emotional connection with

I have an emotional connection with this whole series! Despite them being some of my all time favourite books, my Nan has bought me every single Harry Potter book, including the new illustrated editions and all the little extra book she released.

Samba – A book that made you smile and feel cheerful

These are my go to cheer up books. A Rom-Com in book format, I’m always sure of a laugh when reading Jill Mansell’s books.

Charleston – A books set in the 1920’s

Ok. So I’ve technically not read this one, but its been on my TBR for forever, and its set in the 1920’s so that counts right? Full of speakeasies and rakish pickpockets, I hope to pick this one up soon.
