S4S – 2019 Books I’m excited for

Hello fellow bookworms! This weeks Six for Sunday is all about books due out in 2019 that I’m excited for! There seem to just be too many books due out this year that I’m looking forward to reading, and because of that I’m going to focus this post solely on debut books. I’ve already read a few debuts this year that have knocked it out of the park, and there are loads more that I cant wait to get my hands on. Are there any debuts due out this year that you’re excited for? Let me know in the comments.

The Storm Crown – Kalyn Josephson

I received this ARC in a past Fairyloot box and STILL havent got round to reading it yet. I know… I’m super bad for this, which is probably why my TBR is so out of control. Anywho I will definitely be picking this up before its released – I will… I promise!

Serpent and Dove – Shelby Mahurin

I love the whole ‘had to get married and eventually fall in love trope’ so I’m sure I will love this book! Add in that I’ve only heard awesome early reviews for this, and i’m seriously keeping my fingers crossed that my Edelweiss request gets granted.

Kingdom of Souls – Rena Barron

I actually have an ARC of this on its way to me as we speak due to a lovely trader on twitter. This is another one I’ve heard rave reviews for, and with Witch-doctor’s and Demon King’s who doesn’t want to read this one!

Wicked Fox – Kat Cho

Described as ‘A fresh and addictive fantasy-romance set in modern day Seoul’ this sounds right up my street. I love learning about other cultures when I’m reading, and I cant wait to dive head first into the world of modern day Seoul and learn more about Gumiho.

House of Salt and Sorrows – Erin A. Craig

‘In a manor by the sea, twelve sisters are cursed.’ I’m not going to lie but I’m pretty much hooked from this line. Add in Forbidden trysts and mysterious strangers and I’m here for it.

The Merciful Crow – Margaret Owen

A crown Prince who fakes his death to protect the kingdom and a Crow come to collect his supposedly dead body… I can see where this is going and I’m so excited to go along for the ride. I’m really hoping this will be included in one of the book boxes I’m subscribed to.

Have any of you managed to snag ARC’s of these yet? Or are there any here you’re excited for? Let me know in the comments.

  1. Wow… I’m with you on everything but Wicked Fox!!!! And two are in my summer Fling. Unfortunately the others will have to wait till fall! But thay all look brilliant.

  2. Wow, what a great list!! I have already read Serpent & Dove and House of Salt and Sorrows. Serpent and Dove kind of disappointed me, but House of Salt and Sorrows was fantastic! I have eARCs of Storm Crow, The Merciful Crow and Kingdom of Souls, the first two are books that I hope to read in June.
