Get to Know the Blogger Tag

I was nominated for this by the lovely The Reading Chemist, and you should definitely go and give her blog some love!

Ok, so here are the Rules:

  1. Thank the person who tagged you!
  2. Link back and credit the original creator (myself: GoodeyReads)
  3. Answer book questions about yourself.
  4. Answer the other questions about yourself.
  5. Change the last 5 questions when you tag someone else (if you want! – the more random the better)
  6. Tag at least 3 people.
  7. Have fun! (ooh, that was cliche)

A Book based where you are from

This was the closest thing I could get to a book based where I’m from. Pendle is about 15 minutes away from me and this book is based around the Pendle Witch Trials. It sounds really interesting and I cant wait to start reading it.

A book about your favourite non-bookish hobby

I love baking! I just find it super relaxing, and of course enjoy eating whatever goodies I’ve managed to make.

A book about a fear of yours

I feel like this one is pretty self-explanatory. They’re just super creepy. I have become better over the years, now managing to remove smaller Spider’s without tears, however, any bigger than a 2p coin and I’m gone!

A book about something that brings you joy

I’ve always loved making new friends, hanging around with the ones that I have and listening to music, so I chose this book that brings the two together.

A book about your career/what you studied in school

I studied Psychology and University, and one of my favourite subjects was Criminal Psychology. I’ve always been intrigued by the criminal mind! I’ve not read this book yet. but I have seen the series and It was awesome, if not slightly creepy.

If you won the lottery what would be your first purchase?

A house. Well more specifically a small farm like property. I have always dreamed of owning enough land to have all kinds of farmyard animals. And my second purchase would be a horse.

If you could go anywhere in the world, where would you go?

I was lucky enough to spend 6 months travelling in 2015, and my top destination had to be New Zealand. I would move there in a heart beat, its absolutely stunning.

If you could have dinner with three authors (dead or alive) who would you choose?

Harper Lee, Jane Austen & Jay Kristoff.

What was the first thought provoking book you read?

Probably To Kill a Mockingbird. I read it at quite an early age and the book really hit me. It took me a good few days to read and then a further few days to take in all the lessons there are to learn.

What book character is most like you?

If I could only pick one I would have to say Hermione Granger. Were both nerds who enjoy reading with a little adventure on the side.

As usual I wont be tagging anyone, but if you like the look of this consider yourself tagged!

My questions.

  1. If you could live in any fantasy world which would it be?
  2. Tell me something interesting about where you live.
  3. What would be your dream job?
  4. What is something you would love to learn? i.e a language, Piano etc.
  5. What is your all time favourite book?

  1. Good lord.. if I could make money reviewing books.. or freelancing reviewing books and interviewing authors. That would be awesome.

That is awesome that there is a book about where you live. There are lots of books about where I was born and raised (Brooklyn) but oddly the Arch, in St. Louis, seems to be fodder for being utilized or destroying in YA sci-fi fantasy books or dystopian TV show, which is really odd lol.
