Hello fellow bookworms! Its that time of the week again. This Six for Sunday is all about books released in 2018 that I have yet to read, and let me tell you there are quite a few more than 6. I’m so bad for buying books and then just letting them sit on my shelf for years before reading them, which is why I decided to take part in beating the backlist this year, however, with my added ARC backlog my reading challenge has taken somewhat of a back burner. I got some awesome sounding books in 2018, and I definitely will get round to reading them at some point, seriously, I promise! But for now here are the 6 that I’m really focused on picking up soon.
Six for Sunday is hosted over at A Little But A lot.
The Disasters – M.K. England
I love a good Sci-Fi novel and I love a good squad so this book ticks both boxes for me! It’s had really good reviews as well so I am annoyed at myself for not picking this up sooner.
Catwoman Soulstealer – Sarah J Maas
I’m guaranteed to like this because I haven’t read a bad Maas book so far, and if its anything like Leigh Bardugos Wonder Woman then I will love it. I mean Maas is the queen of snarky assassin style women right?
War Storm – Victoria Aveyard
This is literally the only one of the series I haven’t read and I just don’t know why. I really enjoyed the other books and definitely want to find out how it ends. I will be picking this one up sooner rather than later.
The Bird and the Blade – Megan Bannen
I’ve been recommended this by a few people and it does sound right up my street. Hopeless love, epic journeys and a kick ass female character. What more do you want?
The Sisters of the Winter Wood – Rena Rossner
I love a good fairytaleesque book and this one sounds awesome. Sisters on a journey to save themselves and their loved ones, shape-shifting and secrets lurking in the woods! I cant wait to dive into this story.
Lifel1k3 – Jay Kristoff
I cant believe I haven’t picked this one up yet! I loved Nevernight, and have just finished Aurora Rising so I know I’ll enjoy it, but on the other hand I know Jay will probably break my heart in some way which is probably why I’ve held off starting it.
So those are my 6 2018 releases I still need to read. Are any of these on your TBR, or have you read these already? Let me know your thoughts in the comments.

I could not get into the War Storm series (couldnt finish the first book) but really liked the Disasters. There is a non spoiler preview if you want to check it out but it is a really fun read. She has a new book coming that is described as SOC in space…. I am so there for that book!

Shame too. Harper is probably the publisher I have the best relationship with. I’d venture to say they give new bloggers the most love
