Author you’ve read the most books from.
This is probably Jeffrey Deaver… just cause there are so many books in his Lincoln rhyme series, I think were on book 14 now! This is a really interesting crime series, and im pretty sure there is a TV adaptation on the way.
Best sequel ever?
Oooh this is tricky, I’d have to say A Court of Mist and Fury. I love the character progression in this book, and, you know, Rhysand!
I really fell behind on my Beating the Backlist challenge after last month, so I’m currently reading Sebastien De Castell’s Spellslinger series which has been on my TBR for forever! I loved his Greatcoat’s series so I have high hopes for this one.
Drink of choice while reading.
I’m don’t drink Tea or Coffee, and only have hot chocolate rarely, so i’m going to have to be boring and say water.
E-Reader or Physical book.
Physical Book every time. I only bought my kindle because my shelves were getting overloaded, and even then if I really enjoy the book I tend to buy the physical copy as well.
Fictional character you probably would have dated in high-school.
Captain Carswell Thorne! I’ve always had a bit of a thing for bad boys that are actually little marshmallows :D.
Glad you gave this book a chance.
I really fancied Throne of Glass, but the synopsis for A Court of Thorns and Roses just didn’t interest me. I am so glad that I gave it a try, because its now one of my favourite series.
Hidden Gem Book.
Traitors Blade by Sebastien De Castell! I loved this series, and just think it doesn’t get the hype it deserves. If you love swashbuckling, Robin Hoodesque characters that are the last people you would expect to save the world then this is the series for you. Falcio, Kest and Brasti are my boys!
Important moment in your reading life.
Probably when my Nan gave me the first Harry Potter. I read before this series, but I got so dragged into the world of Hogwarts, that this is the series that started me off as a true reader.
I’m taking part in The Write Reads blog tour for After The Green Withered by Kristen Ward. I enjoyed the book, though I wouldn’t class is as a “top read.”
Kind of books you wont read.
I’m not a massive contemporary fiction fan, and i’m also picky when it comes to Romance.
Longest book you’ve read.
Has to be Kingdom of Ash by Sarah J Maas at a whopping 987 pages.
Major book hangover because of.
Possibly the Throne of Glass series. I had to stop reading that final book so many times, and then didn’t read for a few days after just to take it all in.
Number of Bookcases you own.
I have three in my Bedroom, but looking at how full they are it might be time to buy another!
One book you have read multiple times.
Uprooted by Naomi Novik. I adore this book and Novik’s writing style gets me hooked every time. It’s a beauty and the beast retelling, and one of my favourite books of all time.
Preferred place to read.
Either propped up with loads of cushions in bed, or sat on my sofa.
Quote that inspires you/ gives you all the feels from a book you’ve read.
Has to be this! It’s one of my favourite literary quotes:
“I’m not going to die,” she said. “Not till I’ve seen it.”
Her smile widened. “Everything.”
That I don’t have enough time to read all the wonderful books I want to.
Series you started and need to finish (all the books are out)
The Red Queen series by Victoria Aveyard. And whats really annoying is that I only need to read the last book!
Three of your all time favourite books.
Uprooted by Naomi Novik
A Darker Shade of Magic by V.E Schwab
The Bear and The Nightingale by Katherine Arden
Unapologetic fangirl for.
Has to be the Greatcoat’s series by Sebastien De Castell. They’re the books that I literally throw at people like “read this you’ll love it!”
Very excited for this release more than others.
Aurora Rising by Jay Kristoff and Amie Kaufman. I loved Jay’s Nevernight series and this book just sounds amazing! Bring on May.
Worst bookish habbit.
Probably buying more books than I will ever be able to read! Though I’m not sure its a bad thing.
Your latest book purchase.
The Near Witch by Victoria Schwab. I’ve not been let down by any of her books yet, and I’m looking forward to starting this one.
ZZZ-Snatcher book (last book that kept you up WAY too late).
Think this was Winter of the Witch! I was so excited for this book, I was up till around 4 in the morning, and my alarm was set for 9. No regrets though because it was awesome!
Wow this was a long tag! But I had fun answering all the questions. As always if you feel like taking park consider yourself tagged :D.
