Upcoming releases I’m on the fence about- Top Ten Tuesday.

Top Ten Tuesday is run by Jana over at That Artsy Reader Girl, and you should go and check out her blog because its fab!

This weeks top ten is all about upcoming releases you’re not sure about. There are so many amazing books due out this year, but I’ll admit that there are a few I’m unsure of. Whether because I’ve read the authors other works and didn’t enjoy them, or the premise just doesn’t thrill me. Are there any books you’re on the fence about, or if there are any on my list you would recommend. Let me know in the comments.

Orphanage of the Gods by Helena Coggan

I’ve heard a few people rave about this, and I’ll admit to being slightly interested when I heard it classed as the adult Harry Potter. However, after reading the premise for myself I was unconvinced and can see this being one I don’c pick up.

Warrior of the Wild by Tricia Levenseller

I was so excited for Daughter of the Pirate King, and then I just, really didn’t enjoy it. I was so disappointed, and now I’m wary of reading anything by the author, which is annoying because I actually like the sound of this one.

Sorcery of Thorns by Margaret Rogerson

This is similar in that I heard everyone raving about An Enchantment of Ravens, and it just fell a bit flat for me. Although I have to admit the premise for this one sounds much more up my street, I’m still wary after not liking her first book.

Enchantee by Gita Trelease

This is one I have heard really mixed reviews of, it seems to be a marmite book – you love it or you hate it. The premise doesn’t exactly drag me in so this one might stay off my TBR for a while.

The Waking Forest by Alyssa Wees

This one sounds ok… but its got a slight Hazel Wood vibes, and I really didn’t like that book.

The Devouring Gray by Christine Lynn Herman

I’ve heard people go on and on about this one, and sometimes a book gets too hyped up and it puts me off. The premise doesn’t really drag me in either, so I may give this one a miss.
