Hmm that’s a hard one but I would have to say the Binding. It’s such a beautiful and original story. You should definitely add it to your TBR for next year!

On the Second day of Christmas my true love sent to me: Two Turtle Doves.

Love is in the Air! who is your one true Pairing?

Ahhh! This ones even harder… I’d have to go with Amani and Jin from Rebel in the Sands. I love those books and I think that’s mainly because of this couple.

On the Third day of Christmas my true love sent to me: Three French hens.

In the spirit of threes, what is the best trilogy you’ve read?

My favourite trilogy would have to be ADSOM by Victoria Schwab. I love everything about these books from the world building, the setting and the characters!

On the Fourth day of Christmas my true love sent to me: Four Calling Birds.

Since series usually consist of 4 books or more, what is your favourite series?

I mean it has to be right?

Oooh. I think I’ll have to follow on from the above answer and say Bellatrix Lestrange

On the Sixth day of Christmas my true love gave to me: Six Geese a Laying.

Creation is a beautiful thing! What is your favourite world/ world building?

I think this would have to be Prythian from ACOTAR. Maas builds a beautiful world with all the different courts!

On the Seventh day of Christmas my true love gave to me: Seven Swans a Swimming.

Who needs seven swans when when all it takes is one good animal sidekick? Who is your favourite animal Sidekick?

Mr Kindly from Nevernight. Technically not an animal but he takes the form of a cat so that counts right?

On the Eighth day of Christmas my true love gave to me: Eight Maids a Milking.

Milk is so 18th Century! What book or series takes food/beverages to a whole new level?

I would have to go with Harry Potter again, the description of all the food in the Great Hall, and the Trolly Witch! 

On the Ninth day of Christmas my true love gave to me: Nine Ladies Dancing.

Dancing is just one skill of a lady! Who is your favourite Kick-ass female lead?

Now this is a really hard one, there are so many amazing female leads out there atm. I would have to say Aelin from TOG or Mia from Nevernight. I would also love for these two Assassins to meet!

How about your favourite leading lad?

This one has to be Rhysand from ACOTAR. 

On the Eleventh day of Christmas my true love gave to me: Eleven Pipes a Piping.

What is your favourite book or bookish thing with a musical influence? 

I clearly need to read more books with a music theme as the closest I can get to this is Jace from The Mortal Instruments and his Piano playing.

Drum roll please!!! What was your favourite read of the year?

This is between Shadow of the Fox by Julie Kagawa and Skyward by Brandon Sanderson. But they’re both too good for me to pick one.
