D – The ABC Book Challenge

Ok! So for this challenge you have to make a post a week focusing on one letter at a time. You include your favorite reads starting with the letter and highly anticipated books on your TBR. This week I will be doing the letter D.

Books I’ve Read

Digital Fortress by Dan Brown

The first Dan Brown book I read was Angels and Demons and he fast became one of my instant pick up authors. Though Digital Fortress is not in the “Robert Langdon” series its still a great standalone novel and one I would highly recommend.

Dark Places by Gillian Flynn

Probably a lesser known novel by the author of Gone Girl and sharp objects but still a great novel. The story was just as twisted as the rest of Flynn’s novels and kept me reading right till the end.

Daughter of Smoke and Bone by Laini Taylor

This is the first in the series by Taylor and im ashamed to say the only one I’ve read. I really enjoyed it but have never got round to reading the rest of the series! I really need to move them up on my TBR.

Dont Want to Miss A Thing by Jill Mansell

Jill Mansell is an instant pick up author for me, though romance is not a genre I would typically pick up Jill’s novels are like a rom-com in book form, hilariously funny and sometimes heartbreaking she writes excellent characters and all set in gorgeous UK locations!

Daughter of the Pirate King by Tricia Levenseller

I wouldn’t say this is one of my favourite reads, but it had a interesting story line and relatable characters so I would definitely give it a read if you like a good female based pirate story!
