Topic Tuesday! Favourite Literary Friendships

This was a hard list to narrow down as there are so many series out there with amazing Friendships. These are just a few of my favourites! Let me know if you agree, or who your favourite friendships are! If you havent read the below series be warned this may contain slight spoilers.

Feyre, Cassian and Azriel – ACOTAR by Sarah J Maas

I mean who doesnt love Feyre and her Illyrian warriors right?? I adore the relationship between these three and love how it builds through the series. From Cassian training her in Illyrian fighting styles and Azriel teaching her how to fly the bond between these three is hard to break. The part in ACOWAR when they fly to find her and Lucien breaks me every time! I cant wait for Sarah to expand the series and to see this relationship carry on building.

Falcio, Kest and Brasti – Greatcoats by Sebastien De Castell

I cannot put into words how much I love this series and the main reason for that is the relationship between the three main characters. They have such a real friendship where one second they want to kill each other, and the next save each others lives. They perfectly complement each other and their friendship makes for some of the funniest commentary and one of the most emotional endings to a series.

Harry, Ron and Hermione – Harry Potter by J K Rowling

The Golden Trio just have to be included right? I grew up reading Harry Potter and so Harry, Ron and Hermiones friendship stuck with me. I love how different they all are and yet this somehow makes them into the perfect set of friends. Rowling wrote this relationship perfectly in my opinion, they all had their flaws and faults but this was balanced out by the other characters and made for one of the most memorable bookish friendships.

Jane and Schaz – The Stars now Unclaimed by Drew Williams

I mean and human and a ship count as a friendship right? I think Drew wrote the character of Schaz perfectly, an almost sentient A.I, that had some fantastic dialogue, especially when it came to Jane’s relationships. The author almost makes you forget she is a ship and you just feel that its two main characters having a chat. I love this book and managed to snag an ARC of it on Netgalley and you can find my full review for it here.
